Two people, a kitchen, three games.
Maxonice is a small indie studio working on short, warm games that you can finish in a weekend and come back to next month. We write things down on this desk because we like to show work in progress, and because we'd rather talk to ten readers than ship in silence.
What we're working on
Three games — Warden's Lantern (cozy puzzle-adventure on a fogged-in island), Paperline (a 1920s detective roguelite told in ASCII), and Tideglass (a quiet dive into a stained-glass sea). They release one at a time, roughly a year apart. The devlogs on this desk track all three.
How we publish
One dispatch a month, first Friday, more or less. Sometimes it's a devlog; sometimes it's a patch note; sometimes it's a short essay about a thing we learned. No roadmap promises. The ticker up top is faster — small notes, build numbers, community picks.
